Early Christian martyrs were named Valentine. And those who are named on February 14 are called valentines of Rome. And there had been the third valentine who had become a bishop and later on a saint. After that the names of valentines are celebrated on rome every february 14. And their tradition is to give flowers to the graves of the valentines on Via Flaminia.
And the valentine means worthy, strong and powerful.
Hindi ko magets kung bakit kahit ibang mga relihiyon eh nagcecelebrate din ng valentines day. Eh samantalang sa catholic lang un s’ya.
At di ko alam kung kelan naging saint ang isang nilalang na buhay pa. Dahil inaalayan ito ng bulaklak.At saint? Sige na lang.
